so there a 3 types of karate, i dont know the difference between them but karate involves punches and kicks(strikes), Ao Denkou Jitsu involves punches and kicks and I think also takedowns, its the best for street self defence - it teaches self defence techniques which is a big part of it. Taekwondo is a martial arts which solely involves kicking, u learn how spin 180 degrees and kick and other stuff aswell, a practitioner in taekwondo can probably kick the hardest and fastest. Judo is a martial art which mostly focuses on takedowns, taking someone down to the ground.

My friend (yes I promise this is my friend) Is 5'4" with a weight of 140, which means her BMI is 24.0. Her age is 13 as of October. She asked me to help her, and ask Yahoo Answers, with how to loose some weight. Her stomach bulges out, her thighs enlarge a lot when she sits, and when she waves, her arms jiggle. The main problem is that she can't wear shirts that look good because her bulging stomach sticks out too much to wear fitted clothes. Help Installing the Homebrew Channel on my Wii Through Smash Stack?

I went to wiibrew.org and followed the directions. I renamed the sd card's private folder to privateold. I downloaded smash stack and saved its private folder under wii, then app, then RSBE, then st. I downloaded hackmii version 0.8 and put its boot.elf file in the same section as smash stack. I got rid of the rest. I deleted all custom stages off the wii and the sd card. The sd card is 1.0gb. I put the sd card in my wii, turned on Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and went to stage builder. Nothing Happened!!! It didn't load. It didn't do anything. What did I do wrong? Please Help!!

I wan to attend NYU next year, but the problem is i did reall bad in ap biology, with a 64%. So it made my average 84%. This year i had to take mostly electives or unnecessary coures because im in saudi arabia in an american curriculum school. I have an 88% in english this year, a 90% in precalculus, an 80% in arabic native, 86% in career educaion, and 80% in PE. Last ear however i did better, when i was in America. I got all over 90 except for ao us history with an 86. And freshman year i did good as well with only two courses, french 3 and art in the mid-high 80s. If i do well in my senior year, can I still have a chance to get in NYU or other selective universiies. I want to apply for journalism and this year is the only year where my english is in the 80s. I have a couple music files on my iPod that put all the information (artist, album, song) in one line. I tried to rename these files by right-clicking, going to properties, and clicking on the summary tab. There are spaces for artists name, title, and stuff. I just can't fill them out, I can only fill out title. Does anyone know how to make these files display with separate lines for artist, album, and song title? I'm really OCD about this and if I can't fix it, I'll be really depresed.

If you put food out for them, they are going to fight for it, no matter if there is plenty for all. we get strays around our house alot, and we use a live animal trap to catch them. most of ours are female, so we take them and get them fixed then let them go. But for a male you can take him to a shelter or let him loose somewhere far from your house. I know alot of people say if you do that then it wont survive but cats are natural hunters and do not rely on humans to feed them. I save scans and various copies of business receipts in a folder but many files also create an associated folder containing some other info pertaining to the file. I have to rename the scans and they all start life as 00000.jpg to make finding them easy to find for renaming as they all end up at the top of the list of files. Hi, I tried to edit some home movie with the windows movie maker. When trying to save them as movie i had the difficulty saying the file can't save as its telling to import the picture and video file as it is. I couldn't understand why it is keep on telling that. Ok so basically i wanted to get themes for my windows 7, So i had to play around with the explorer.exe, ExplorerFrame.exe OobeFldr.dll and shell32.dll located at the sytem32 folder, While doing this I renamed the shell32.dll and tried to transfer the new one for the theme. Unfortunately it did not transfer no matter how much i tried.It owuld appear like it was tranferring but I coudnt find it in the system32 folder, all i could find was my renamed shell32.dll file. So, I decided to restart my computer, and when i did, it told me that i am missing a shell32.dll file and i cant run my desktop, i was stuck at the home screen where you type your password. I tried running at safe mode but it did not work the same thing happened. So, This time i tried to use system restore and i restored to yesterday when my computer was working fine, and well, now its working fine just like yesterday. What im just worried about is if there are any like side effects to system restore, like my hardware breaking, or etc.. I wanted to reinstall my OS again but it takes too much time. Am i just being paranoid about this? Please help im really worried about my computer breaking.

Still swollen sprained ankles ?

I badly sprained both ankles at gymnastics two weeks ago and at the time I was in agony and couldn't walk but now I'm walking and I have much more movement in both ankles with very limited pain and I've regained my balance on each ankle and all in all I'm healing well but around the bone on the outside of each ankle is still swollen but isn't tender around the swelling.I've had xrays and I haven't broken or fractures either ankle ao we can rule that out.the minute I injured myself my ankles were iced and I iced them plenty for the first while after my injury and after I went walking I would ice them again and lately I've been using ice and then heat packs and i'm using diclac an anti inflammatory cream for ligaments and tendons.I didn't tear any ligaments but I sprained strong ligaments and that they contracted and that they need to be stretches out again so I'm stretching them every day and I'm doing very well now but they're still swollen.what do I do ?why is it like this ?

Help Installing Smash Stack on my Wii?

I went to wiibrew.org and followed the directions. I renamed the sd card's private folder to privateold. I downloaded smash stack and saved its private folder under wii, then app, then RSBE, then st. I downloaded hackmii version 0.8 and put its boot.elf file in the same section as smash stack. I got rid of the rest. I deleted all custom stages off the wii and the sd card. The sd card is 1.0gb. I put the sd card in my wii, turned on Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and went to stage builder. Nothing Happened!!! It didn't load. It didn't do anything. What did I do wrong? Please Help!!

I really reallly really really really want to go to this college. It is out-of-state though. My mom is unemployed and I have a 3.14 gpa. I play no sports. The cost is 30,000 dollars. I don't think I can rack up enough money to get in. I made a 19 on the ACT. That was my first time taking it. It's ao much money and I really want to go. The average of the applicants accepted have 25-28 ACT and they have between a 3.5-4.0 GPA. I am going into my senior year and it feels like my dreams of going there are hopeless. Can I change Fable III's (PC) music?

I'm not a fan of the music in the game, I more enjoy the older music. Before I go messing with files, theoretically I could find the music I want to change in the "audio" folder of Fable III, delete the music I want to change, and rename a Fable I audio file to that of the replaced one? It would then cue that audio file, for say entering Bowerstone? I've also found that music doesn't cue very often in Fable III as the others did, or maybe I'm just imagining things. This could all be fixed with mods, but Microsoft/Lionhead sucks. :)

The other day, I went to a fundraiser concert for my cousin who was in a car crash a couple of months ago. After the concert, my family and I met a woman who's son had played at the concert that evening. When she met me, she said, "So this is the famous Arianna!". My uncle and cousin had written a song about me, (the song title was my name), and apparently her son played/sang the song a lot. She started talking to us about him. She wanted for us to meet, so we went outside and talked with him. She introduced me to him and Viceversa; we exchanged glances and gave an awkward "Hi" and wave. She told him that I was the girl that the song was written about, and both her and my mom made a big deal about the song. We were both embarrassed; he had said to his mom "It's just a song" and I had given my mom one of my warning looks of: "Thanks, this is awkward/embarrassing." But I did find him pretty cute, and he kept looking at me. I caught him at one point, and held his eyes for a couple of seconds. My mom "requested" that he would sing the song at my other cousin's graduation party that was coming up, since she hadn't heard it since I was about 2yrs old (I'm almost 15 now). (He plays guitar). After they had talked, we said our goodbyes (I turned around and gave a goodbye wave to him, and he had been looking my way as I walked away), we left, and I had learned that he is 17yrs old. My mom also found him cute. I would really like to see him again, and get to talk to him. Do you think that I could have a chance, or do you think that he is a little too old for me? I've know this boy for like two and a half years and never really thought of him THAT way until the end of this past school year. He's a really funny guy and has a lot of friends. In fact he's friends with most everyone in our class. He came over and talked to my friends and I a lot this year at lunch and joked with us and stuff. one day at lunch he was joking around with a bunch of people and was talking about ways to ask people out and chose me as an example and dipped me and hugged me and all sorts of things. I started to fall over one day at lunch and he grabbed me and pulled me back up and made sure i was all the way up before he even started to let go. Another day he was talking about hugs and chose me for all the examples again and then just didn't let go and would turn me with him when he turned to talk to people. He did all this for a phase and would smile and wave at me in the hall and then he just kind of stopped. He didn't really talk to my friends and i as often and didn't acknowledge me in the hall way and then right the VERY end of the year he started with all of it again. Its really heart wrenching. I know he's had bad experiences with girls before and is not likely to start anything. I think its up to me and I probably wont see him again until August when school starts. Really the only contact I have with him is Facebook and we don't really talk a lot on there we only really comment on each others statuses ever once and a while. Help please? Its really hard for me to just "go for it" so please be more detailed! thanks!

Winter fashion question?

This question has been on my mind and as I sit here and watch the tv it came back to me. When I was younger everyone wore earmuffs, I was a cheerleader all through high school and earmuffs were always part of our uniform. I still wear earmuffs when it gets cold but I am starting to see less and less people wearing earmuffs. Well, I went to a restaurant with my mom and the guy I thought who was cute was there. His dad is from my town and his mom is from a half hour away. He comes home every other weekend. How can I rename html Firefox saved webpages without "unlinking" the saved files that come with it?

Using Mozilla Firefox you can save webpages in a "complete manner", an html file is created along with a file containing all the images the webpage uses, it has a title of "NameOfWebpage_files". When I renamed an html I tried renaming the folder as well but now the webpage has absolutely no images to open with. I cannot go back to the webpage I tried to save cause it is now inexistent, and I do not remember the original name of the webpage I saved. Stupid yes, but beyond the point. Is there a way to rename html saved webpages and have the images remain linked to it?

Ok ive read and watched alot on quantum physics, but what i want to know is how can everything that we know today, everything in the universe, come from nothing? i mean there must have been something before everything, in philosophy, they talk in some groups about waves, no this is talked about in scince too, perhaps in a different format, but lets say basically, everything is yin and yang, we have two sides to everything, you cannot have light without darkness, you cannot have black without white, because you would not be able to understand what one is without the other, but surely the same rules, if you want to call it that, apply to the beggining of all creation. if everything came from nothing, that is to say, if the universe began from nothing then surely before it all happened there must have been something there to contrast it. before the fabric of time or reality came into play there must have been an opposite to these things, so i suppose you can add those as extra questions, what is the opposite of time, and what is the opposite of reality? this might seem ridiculous to you, but its difficult to explain what im trying to ask in words, maybe it cant be explained in words, but in my head i know what im trying to say, i hope you do also. Well I have never been given medication for it but I get bad stomach aches to and my doctor just told me it was from stress. It never really leaves unless you can find a way to manage your stress. For me I will still get them from time to time but mostly it's settled down a LOT. I used to have a stomach ache daily when I was 9-13 at 14-15 it became like 2 times a week and 16-17 has been like only 5 times a year.

Okay so lately when my boyfriend and I have been going out, annoying stuff has been happening. One time we were waiting to cross a street and a car full of teenage guys (my boyfriend and I are both 18) was driving by and they yelled "is she your sister?". Another time, we were getting gas and two guys at the gas station (at a pump a few rows away) waved at us. They looked kind of familiar so I hesitantly waved back and glanced away. When I looked back at them, one was holding up his phone and pointed to it and then to me. After both these instances, I blushed and my boyfriend looked rather dejected and was really quiet for the next several minutes. I don't really get it though. I mean, I think he is hotter than I am (and I tell him that he's hot and that I'm lucky to be with him) yet he doesn't really believe me/think he is good enough for me. What can I do to cheer him up/help with the situation/show him that if anything, I'm the one who is not good enough? Why can't I transfer mp3 files from flashdrive to desktop to burn a CD?

I have music on my laptop and added it to my flashdrive to put onto my desktop but I keep getting an error "Windows Media cannot find the file. If you are trying to play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the item might point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted." Anybody knows what's going on?

I hate those auto flush toilets?

I hate those auto flush toilets, I was just srayed by some digusting toilet water. Eughh. Speaking of auto flush toilets, to think about it they waste electricity using a sensor to detect motion, I was just in a bathroom where EVERYTHING was automatic, the paper towel dispensers, the sinks, the soap dispensers, the blow dryers, the toilets and even the lights. Think about the fact that all these things have a sensor to detect motion; a sensor that's wasting electrictity when it's not in use. Besides the fact that auto-everything is for lazy people and it's so inconveint, the toilets flush when your on them, take more than one flush, u have to use more than the soap and paper towel dispensors give u in one dispense. And the auto sinks barely give u a sqiurt of water before u have to wave ur hands or find some way to reactivate the water, so inconvient and it takes electricity to re-heat the water. Lastly auto lights in a bathroom? Really? So the lights turn off mid dump and u have to wipe in the dark. Jeez whats wrong with the world today and saving money everywhere?! Liberalist freaks. P.S.- whats next auto toilet paper disopensors? I wouldn't be suprised, the future is known to bring tighter rules and more control....

Alright, i got a new computer yesterday and transferred the music from my ipod to my new computer to Itunes. But when i saved a music folder with all my ipod music to put it onto my itunes all a lot of the song come up as folder names and not song names. If you burned the cd yourself try taking it off and rename the album again or try uninstall and install again. my will do that and it will freeze that i have to turn my laptop off and uninstalll and re install it and sometimes it will not add the add songs that have been copied or they will not show up.

Rate my "improved" pokemon team?

Your team is alright. I would make a few changes though. Take out Blissey. I know it has a lot of HP but it needs to go because of its poor speed, attack, and defense. Replace it with a Haxorus / Hydreigon because those are both fast and good. Once you have one of those two in replace Zoroark with Volcarona. Volcarona has awesome Sp.attack and speed which would help your team a lot. I don't really like Arcanine either, but that's just my personal preference. A very underused pokemon is Excadrill. They have good attck and speed as well. I hope this helps!
